We are in full blown preparation for the Christmas holidays now….   Christmas lunches, dinners, parties, cookie baking, carol singing mode is active!

Making the holiday more about the spirit of the Season may be a little more exciting if we weren’t worrying about how to pay for all of the gifts that we feel we have to purchase.   If you can’t remember what you received last Christmas, odds are neither can anyone who you gave a gift to.    We spend so much time, effort and money searching for the “perfect” gift for someone when they may be quite happy just spending time together.

Don’t let social media or advertising campaigns convince you that if someone does not receive the latest X,Y, Z (insert anything there) that their life will be ruined….   Gifts from the heart are always the best.
