The John Williams Scholarship
The John Williams Scholarship is presented each year to a qualifying staff member from the CSB of Middle Georgia who is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in the Behavioral Health, Nursing, or Counseling field and whose life work revolves around working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. This scholarship is given by the John Williams Scholarship Foundation, in conjunction with Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church, and with support from the Carl and Mavis Williams Family in honor of their son, John Williams.
The 2019 recipients are Mikahaila Dixon and Martavis Isaac. Mikahaila works in our Adult Outpatient Access Unit at B1 under the supervision of Chadwin Hutcheson, and Martavis Isaac works with our Child and Adolescent program under the direction of Marnie Braswell. The scholarships will go toward furthering their education in the behavioral health field. Congratulations, again, to Mikahaila and Martavis on their selection as the 2019 John Williams Scholarship awardees and for this prestigious accomplishment!
