Wellness Wednesday

We can all identify with empty tanks recently from either filling up our vehicles, our generators or ourselves.   Be gentle with yourself and with others right now.   Everyone has been through things that we never thought we would go through here in our part of the world and it has been a stressful and unprecedented experience for us all.

Spend some time in a quiet space so that you can be away from the noise of the day, breathe deeply and slowly to reset your balance (breathe through your nose into your diaphragm for a count of 4, hold for 4, breathe out through your mouth for 4 and hold for 4 – do this a few times if you feel stressed or anxious – trust me it works😊).   If someone seems tense or irritated – give them a smile of understanding rather than allowing yourself to become the same instead of getting worked up and angry.   It is hard to be upset when you are smiling…

We must take care of ourselves in order to support those who need us.
