It is that time of year! Cold weather has hit and with that brings the winter bugs – colds and flu! There are precautions you can take to fight these bugs!
Limit the spread of germs by covering your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze and then washing your hands regularly to remove germs
Staying hydrated helps to boost your immune system and helps you to fight viruses.
Be sure your vitamin D levels are not low. Get some sunshine and eat foods high in vitamin D.
Rest. No need to hibernate but be sure you are getting quality sleep each night. A lack of sleep can lower your immune system.
Be sure you see a provider when you are sick as needed.
