As we commemorate the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG) reflects on the profound impact this landmark legislation has had on our community and the lives of individuals with disabilities.

The more you know about your financial situation, the better off you are for life.   Don’t just stick your money in the bank and expect it to do anything for you – find someone you can trust for good advice – don’t rely on social media or others who may be well-intentioned – spend a few dollars to speak with a financial advisor who can steer you in the right direction or take financial literacy classes to learn more about saving and investing.

While numerous positive advancements have been made in recent years, the mental health landscape in Georgia remains in a dire state. As highlighted by recent statistics. According to Forbes Advisor, Georgia ranks as the second worst state for mental health care in the country, just behind Texas (Boyce, 2024).

As the summer sun blazes down on Georgia, temperatures often soar to dangerous levels, making it essential for everyone to take precautions to stay safe and healthy.
