This is a bit tongue in cheek but it’s true!   We feel that there is a need to buy gifts for everyone we know while in reality – many of those on that list may not be expecting anything and actually may not be the happiest to receive a gift because they then feel obligated to return the thought.

As Thanksgiving nears and the holiday season approaches, it’s the perfect time for reflection and gratitude. At the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG), we know that gratitude is more than a seasonal tradition—it’s a key strength that can enrich our lives and improve our work.

The traditional harvest season is over now that we are moving into the cooler days leading up to winter but there are still lots of seasonal produce available. Growing these yourself or buying locally grown is another plus.

Universal Children’s Day is a global celebration of children’s rights and well-being. At CSBMG, we believe every child deserves a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive. This November 20, let’s join together to advocate for children’s health, safety, and happiness.

It’s all in the execution.   We are all capable of bringing great ideas to the table but if we don’t take action to bring them into reality – what was the purpose?
