We are thrilled to announce that Shellana Phillips has completed her C.A.R.E.S. Certification … Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist, also known as CPS-AD! Shellana began her journey with CSBMG's Step One Program as a volunteer in June 2023 and became an official team member in October 2023.

Each year, the John Williams Scholarship Foundation, in collaboration with the Carl and Mavis Williams Family and Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church, awards a scholarship to an employee of the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG) in Dublin, Georgia, who is working toward an advanced graduate degree in the mental health field.

Beat the summer heat! We are not officially in Summer yet, but it certainly feels like it. Parts of the southwest are hitting 110 degrees this week and we are only in June. Always be aware of the damage that heat can do when you may not even realize it is happening.

Another way to stand out as a top performer is to enhance your Emotional Intelligence. Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict.
