Congratulations to Teresa Irby on the Flame of Hope Award! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Teresa Irby has been selected for the prestigious 2024 Flame of Hope Award! This award, presented by Commissioner Kevin Tanner and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), honors those who “fan the flames of hope” and embody DBHDD’s mission and values. Out of 150 nominations from across the state, only 10 individuals were chosen this year, and we’re proud to see that Teresa is among them!

Nominated by Stephen Smith, Teresa’s dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a positive difference in our community truly stand out. Her work exemplifies what it means to bring hope and healing to those we serve.

Please join me in congratulating Teresa! We look forward to celebrating this incredible achievement at the State Capitol ceremony this November, where she will be honored by Commissioner Tanner and the DBHDD Leadership Team.

Thank you, Teresa, for inspiring us all and for your unwavering commitment to our mission. 🌟
