AHHH… School is almost over and summer break is just around the corner. Summer vacations can be super expensive these days, especially if you are planning to visit any of the theme parks or travel to remote destinations. Hopefully if you are planning major trips you have saved up during the past year and have it all paid for by now.

If you don’t have the funds to plan a major trip, there are so many things to do that are either a day trip or maybe an overnight stay so close to us right here in middle Georgia. In just a couple of hours we can be at the beach and in around 4 hours can be in the mountains. There are not many states that have access to both in such a short distance. A day trip to the beach can be super fun and all you have to do is pack up a cooler full of snacks and drinks and head to the coast. A weekend trip to the mountains can bring cooler temps, hiking, tubing and so much more.

You don’t have to break the bank to have a great time this summer.
