Parents’ Day: Honoring the Dedication and Love of Parents

Erica Stokes: July 29, 2024

Parents’ Day, observed on the fourth Sunday of July, is a special occasion dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the dedication and love of parents. This year, Parents’ Day falls on July 28, providing an opportunity to honor the critical role that parents play in shaping the lives of their children (National Parents’ Day Council, 2023).

At the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG), we understand the challenges and rewards that come with parenting. Our parenting classes and resources are designed to support families, helping them create nurturing and supportive environments for their children (CSBMG, 2024).

Parenting is a journey that involves significant sacrifices and unwavering commitment. It is essential to appreciate the efforts of parents who work tirelessly to provide for their families and instill values that will guide their children throughout their lives (American Psychological Association, 2023).
