Wednesday Wellness
Food and Thanksgiving are synonymous, so it is up to us to do our best to not overeat. It comes once a year so it may be the splurge we have been waiting for. It is a time for celebration and being thankful but there are some things you can do to help cut some calories and to also be sure you are tempering the desire to eat everything on the table😊
Drink water – this helps to fill us up
Go for the fresh vegetables on the table instead of the casseroles.
Limit the desserts to your favorite one instead of all of them.
Go for a walk after you eat to help burn off some of the calories.
Everything in moderation so enjoy the meal and know that you will need to get back on track after the holiday.
