In recent years, the connection between mental health conditions and chronic diseases has gained significant attention in the healthcare community.

This is a very interesting point!    As with anything else in life that we may have a goal to achieve we must first change our mindset to work toward the goal.  

This is very appropriate after coming through the past few weeks of Hurricane Helene and the cleanup efforts.    Anxiety is “an emotion characterized by feelings of tension, worried thoughts, and physical changes like increased blood pressure” (American Psychology Association). 

The Southeastern portion of the United States is still reeling from the two major hurricanes that impacted several states and so many have lost so much – kindness is the one thing that we can extend to each other right now that does not cost us anything.
