Congratulations to the 2025 John Williams Scholarship Recipient – Jordan Hightower

Community Service Board of Middle Georgia is proud to announce Jordan Hightower, BS, ST, as this year’s recipient of the John Williams Scholarship, an annual award recognizing a CSBMG employee pursuing advanced education in the mental health field.
Jordan currently serves as a Behavioral Health Intake Worker in our Adult Outpatient Access Unit in Dublin. As the first point of contact for individuals seeking services, Jordan plays a vital role in welcoming individuals, gathering essential information, and connecting them to the appropriate level of care.
A 2019 graduate of Middle Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a member of the National Honor Society, Jordan is now advancing her education through a Master’s degree program in Forensic Psychology at Grand Canyon University. With a current GPA of 3.5, she remains a full-time CSBMG employee while pursuing her degree.
Jordan’s commitment to recovery is both professional and personal. As an active member of the recovery community through Narcotics Anonymous and sponsorships, she is passionate about advocating for individuals struggling with mental health and substance use. Her career goal is to provide therapy and treatment for individuals within the criminal justice system and pursue licensure following completion of her degree.
Sponsored by the Carl and Mavis Williams Family and Henry Memorial Presbyterian Church, the John Williams Scholarship honors employees like Jordan who are dedicated to advancing their education in service of others. Jordan is ambitious, compassionate, and impactful—both in her workplace and volunteer roles. Her academic drive, leadership, and deep sense of social responsibility exemplify the values the John Williams Scholarship was created to support. We are proud to support Jordan on her journey and look forward to the continued impact she will make in our community.
Congratulations, Jordan! Your story is a testament to resilience, purpose, and passion in the pursuit of healing and hope through recovery.
