This quote jumped off the page and onto my email this morning!    We cannot sit around and “Hope” things will change or take a chance that things may change by accident.   In order to make a change – it is up to us to do the work.   

The well-being of children in the CSBMG (Community Service Board of Middle Georgia) catchment area has been meticulously analyzed in the 2024 KIDS COUNT Data Book by The Annie E. Casey Foundation. This comprehensive report provides valuable insights into various aspects of child well-being, highlighting both progress and ongoing challenges in economic stability, education, health, and family and community support and can be easily researched for the sixteen counties served by CSBMG.

Why do we spend time obsessing over others – their success, their looks, their wealth, their – fill in the blanks!   When have we obsessed about the things that we love in ourselves?

July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, and at the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG), we are dedicated to highlighting the unique mental health challenges faced by historically marginalized and underserved racial and ethnic groups.

We are honored to give a shout out to our newest PEARLS trainees! Jammie Gilbert, CPS-P, Haley Monroe, CPS-Y, Juan Corona, CPS-Y, Crystal Miller, CPS-P, and Anna Hodges, CPS-Y celebrated their PEARLS graduation on June 18th!!
