This time of year, (while it is the “most wonderful time of the year” according to the song -  can get a little hectic and finding a way to remain calm is key to thriving during the season.  

Who says that Christmas has to be over the top expensive?  What if we had one Christmas where everyone made each other’s gifts?  

Everything in moderation is my motto!   The holidays bring many more unhealthy options that other times of the year, so we do have to be on our guard to ensure we do not go overboard with bad choices.  

Even the Grinch’s heart grew three sizes during Christmas in Whoville.    The Christmas season does sometimes tend to make people more apt to be kinder to others but it may also be a time that is sad for others so we must be mindful of how this may impact them.  

We are proud to announce that the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia (CSBMG) has been awarded $91,000 in Opioid Abatement Funds to support our harm reduction efforts! 🙌 This grant will help communities across DBHDD’s Region 5 area in Georgia, with particular focus on the counties served by CSBMG.
