Trans-Parenting Seminar

The Trans-Parenting Seminar is a four-hour educational program for families experiencing divorce or separation with children under 18.

Who Is This Seminar For?

Our seminar is for families experiencing divorce, separation, change of custody, or change of visitation actions. It is also available for those involved in new cases of legitimization.

The Trans-Parenting Seminar is approved by the Superior Courts of the Eighth Judicial Administrative District and fulfills the requirements set forth by the Courts for divorcing parents with children under the age of 18.

Court-ordered parents must attend this class within 30 days of case disposition but are not required to attend together. If you wish to attend a different class than your spouse, please advise when you pre-register.

What to Expect from the Seminar

Our seminar highlights the many stages of divorce and provides suggestions and guidelines to help form a positive environment for you and your children. You will observe how divorce affects families and learn how children react to divorce at various ages. You will receive helpful tips on talking with your children about divorce and ensuring they are still safe and loved.
